I switch to Hallmark Channel this morning and they were showing the movie "The Christmas Shoes". It was about a little boy who wanted to buy a pair of shoes for his dying mom so she looks pretty in heaven. Sadly he picked a pair of red flats but did not have enough money for it. He begged a nice young man to loan him money to buy that last pair of shoes for his mom. So he carried his shoes and went home to him mom. She thought its the most beautiful shoes that she ever wore and that she will look really beautiful in heaven.

And all I can think of is how I shopped for a nice blouse for Mom all because I wanted her to look pretty in heaven too. Its christmas again and Mom loves christmas the best. I recall present shopping and tree decorating. And all the gifts will label our names under the tree while we await eagerly for Christmas to come...
